Smoking might cause the car's air conditioning to fail quickly

Smoking might cause the car's air conditioning to fail quickly.Smoking has become a negative habit among us, even though the habit is equivalent to falling asleep in the car.

While the air conditioner (AC) is switched on and the window glass is open, the majority of passengers will continue to smoke.

This practice is what causes the AC filter to become dirty more quickly.

If you frequently smoke while driving, you should first turn off the air conditioner to prevent the air conditioner from becoming dirty.

You are permitted to open the automobile window while smoking in the cabin if the air conditioner is turned off.

Close the car windows when you've finished smoking, and you're free to turn on the air conditioner.

This is necessary not only to prevent cigarette smoke from entering the vehicle, but also to prevent dirt and dust from entering the vehicle because the windows are frequently opened while someone smokes in the cabin.

If the air conditioner is left on all the time, the cabin's AC filter will quickly become dusty.

From 2012 onwards, all vehicles were required to have an AC filter installed in the cabin.

A clogged filter can cause issues with the air conditioner, such as it not being cold enough, and so on.

The AC filter should be cleaned on a regular basis, at least every six months or 10,000 kilometers, to keep the AC in good working order.

When it comes to Toyota cars that are rarely used, it is preferable to switch on the air conditioning for about five to seven minutes when heating the vehicle.

If you don't use your air conditioner very often, it will lose pressure, just like your tires do if you don't use them too often.
